POSITIONAL CLINIC SERIES

DESCRIPTION

At the Positional Clinic Series players will be challenged to focus on and improve upon fundamentals pertaining to each lacrosse position:  Defense, Midfield, Attack, Goalie, Face-Off.  Players are grouped with other players from their respective positions to further advance their understanding of that positions fundamentals through detail oriented coaching.  All skill-sets will be practiced in the form of drills that encourage high reputations to proper technique.  The clinic series will be directed by Professional Lacrosse Player and PLL Atlas star Eric Law and other current and former D1 players.

Defense:  Footwork, positioning, checks, defensive approach, general stick work, Fast Breaks

Offense:  Stick skills, dodging, time and room and inside shooting.

Face-Offs:  Advanced face-off strategy and moves, wing-play, whistle awareness, proper technique and stance.  

Goalies:  Footwork, Positioning, Clearing, Warm-up Drills, Eye-hand Coordination, Communication
